Soulman's Bar-B-Que Coming to Terrell

While out eating breakfast with my grandma last Sunday, I noticed that the neon sign on the old Grandy's had been changed to Soulman's Barbeque!!! I was so excited, being the bbq afficionado that I am.

Back around 2000, when my company office was located down in Desoto, I used to go out to eat lunch with co-workers at the Soulman's location located off I-20 in south Dallas/Desoto all the time. They have some of the best bbq, fried okra, banana pudding and sweet tea that I've ever had! When my company office moved up to Plano, I started going out to eat at the Soulman's in Rockwall every now and then... and now Terrell will have it's very own soon!!! This isn't going to be good for my diet =)...

Sounds like a really, really good way to say a total good-bye to Grandy's. I'm all for BBQ, fried okra, banana pudding, and sweet tea--all for it! Yummy, yummy. Not that I didn't like to go to Grandy's now and then back when we lived in Houston, but Soulman sounds mighty fine to me.
