today's photo is a small weed-flower that most people would probably never notice =) the flower itself is about as big as the end of my pinky, and can be found in small bunches in the yards around town...

okay, i apparently missed saturday! =) so that means i'll have to post twice on sunday! yesterday we took a road trip to choctaw to donate our hard-earned money to the indians at the casino... and they were happy to take it. i guess they're trying to get enough money to pay for the high rise hotel and casino they're building next door!

the model T club rolled through Terrell today and met at the heritage museum on the corner of Frances and High Streets. I'll have another photo later today =)

as most large city dwellers can tell you - never wait til the last minute to try and make an appointment! luckily, i left for the symphony tonight early enough to not let the traffic concern me =) the concert started at 7:30p, and i arrived at the meyerson right at 7p!

today's photo is some flowers that i shot on my walk through downtown last night. chrysanthemums are very popular this time of year, and can be found just about everywhere you look in all colors and sizes.

'tis the season!

i walked through downtown terrell tonight, where the businesses were decked out with seasonal decorations and colors... for me, it's halloween.. but maybe it's just fall harvest or autumn decorations if you prefer!

ok, one more shot of the Iris theater... last night's photo was taken on my walk up to the store at dusk... and tonight's photo was taken on my way back home, about 10 minutes later than yesterday's photo - even though it looks much darker =)

here i find myself at the end of the weekend again. i've been a little lazy and skipped a few days of posting... =) today's photo is one i just took of the iris theater tonight as the sun was setting. of course the street light is in the way, as usual, but i loved the color of the sky. dusk is my favorite time of the day, always has been =)

i braved my fear of heights to take a ride on the Texas Star ferris wheel at the fair yesterday! =) it's not so bad if you close your eyes and have your death grip on the side bars =)

La Azteca

La Azteca, the local groceria y carniceria, y panaderia, y taqueria, sported a brand new sign as I passed on my way home today. The first photo shows the old sign which has been on the building for a number of years, the new sign is below. I'll have to go back another night and try to photograph it when it's lit up! =)
