Sayonara Sunday

I started my next home project today, and will be following up with some photos over the next few weeks. I decided to try to paint my house, so the object is to see how far I get before I hire someone to finish. I usually have big ideas, but the work always seems to be more than what I imagine…

I’m determined to work a little at a time and not get overwhelmed with the scope of the project… this is a photo I snapped in downtown Edgewood yesterday, and seemed appropriate for the kick-off…

Yes, this is a great sign. Top tip for house painting - use a big brush! :)

Little at a time. Avoid being overwhelmed. Good ideas!

And yes, that old sign is a grrrreat one, to kick-off your house painting project!

Tell me, 'be those' bullet holes in it, and in the fence? One bigger one, to the left, is a knothole. But... the rest...

And you know, with "the whole world watching" like this... with this painting project... You just may have to finish it yourself! With us cheering you on! ,-)

I love the old sign. Good luck with the painting. We have a lot of projects around the house that need finishing too!
