the end of the weekend... i wish they lasted longer than 2 days!

a few pics from the Electric Run 5k Dallas, held last night in Fair Park.  It was pretty cool  - no iPod needed =)

i ran the whole 10k up to mile 6 when i felt nauseous for some reason... so i walked about 2 minutes and then ran it in =)  

at one race this year, at the very end i plan to get on my knees and crawl across the finish line! =)

getting the weekend started on a healthy note -- the snowman shuffle 10k for me...  after that, it'll probably be pancakes! =)

looking back

the one year anniversary of my grandma passing is coming up at the end of January. My co-workers all chipped in and bought this garden stone for me last year, but the back yard was being worked on all last year with the garage and concrete demo and removal, tree removal, fence removal new fence being built and finally the construction of the storage shed... hopefully i can get a garden built this spring so i can have a place to set this beautiful memorial instead of my computer desk! =)

we spent new year's at the Heart of Dallas bowl game today between Oklahoma State and Purdue.  It was a great game for Oklahoma... and having side line passes was pretty sweet for us. the only drawback was the cold weather and my cold hands - bathroom hand-dryer heaters work great in cold weather.

i also saw my bosses son in the stands... she's playing a trick on him now, by telling him her 'spies' saw him at the game =)
