Bass Rutledge Drugs



Today's photo is of Bass Rutledge drugstore in downtown Terrell. This is one of the few original stores in downtown that is still in operation, and has been doing business in the same location for over 100 years.

The second photo here is a night shot that I took last year...

I like the reflection of the lights in the rain in the second photo. Both are nice though.

Lovely shots, Brian. I really like old buildings and am glad the original business still survives.

I love the pics of the old drugstore! It made me wonder if you've ever seen Al Castleman's website? (Just google Al's name to find it). It has a great picture from WWII of British cadets in uniform crossing the street in front of the same store. The shot is taken from almost the same angle. It's very cool to compare the pics!
