still working on the website name issue... i finally received a reply from google apps, but it was from 3 days ago (right before i left for vegas) and now nothing else...

New Address

Day 3 with no word from Google.

If you go to 'www.texasdailyphoto.com' now it leads you to my post from last January 11th, 2008. I posted daily for over a year - so that just leaves about 400 missing posts... Someone apparently has pointed my address to a cache page of my site from January 2008... could this mean someone is working on the problem? who knows - i haven't been contacted in any way. No email. No phone call. Nothing.

Bank of America has already emailed me back about my inquiry to them disputing the charge on my credit card. I hate to do that, because i really do want my web address name. But at this point I feel I have no other recourse. I paid money to Google for my site name. My site name is now 'owned' by someone in England who wants me to pay them $600.00 to get it back. I paid for it first. It was auctioned off due to Google's negligence. Google won't take calls or return emails. I don't know what else to say, except....SCREW GOOGLE, I'M GOING TO VEGAS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Forgive my harsh tone in my last couple posts - BUT... i've worked in a customer service call center for about 13 years now....., and i've always loved Google. I refer people to google all the time and try to teach about it's greatness. And for them to have no customer service available by phone is completely unacceptable. They absolutely have the right to limit their service to certain areas of their business - but if they take payments online for a service and neglect to provide the service, then they need to be able to answer for the payment they took. for such a great company, their service is no bueno. I did everything I was supposed to do for my web address renewal - Google's process is broken and resulted in GoDaddy auctioning my site name off. I'm still waiting for some type of response.... if I have trouble with my pager I can call 24/7 and get customer service.... google has nobody to assist their customers by phone... wow!

I really do love this Victorian house, it's located right behind my house on the next street over. It's been foreclosed and will be up for auction at the end of the month....

Today's photo is another old building in downtown Terrell. I've always liked the style used in this building, with the bay windows on the 2nd floor. I'd love to have a loft apartment made out of an entire floor of one these old buildings like this =)

Ok - last gargoyle photo for a while =) here is the original photo from yesterday. In other updates - i'm a month and a half away from my 40th birthday, and still exercising pretty much daily. Extensively. It's getting hard to fit everything into the day that I need to and still get sleep =) But I can see a little results, which is motivating =) less than 2 weeks til vegas!!

A photo from the archives today =) my exercising is getting in the way of my photography! i've got to get out and get some new shots =) my 40th birthday is coming up at the end of March, and right now I'm still planning on some before and after photos from my working out... we'll see how everything goes as the date gets closer! =) I'm keeping track of the miles I walk for 2009, and for January I walked a total of 81 miles!
