Southland Athletic Building at night

This is a photo of the Southland athletic corporation building located near the historic downtown area of Terrell. I'd love to see the inside of it someday... I think the night photo makes it look a little eerie... it's been empty the 11 years that I've lived in Terrell.
Update: although the building appears empty, a commenter has corrected me to let us know that this building is still in operation and houses the knitting mill. The main manufacturing building is located directly behind this one.

It does look a bit eerie. Hopefully, somebody will come along and reopen it.

Yes, the green glow on the ground gave me pause. I thought, "wonder if that's where the nuclear waste is stored?"

Vacant all those years? Yikes. But a great photo, regardless.

My Mother worked there for many years, I am surprised it is still standing. I was born and raised in Terrell and a lot of my memories have been torn down.

It's not closed, the knitting mill is still inside and the main manufacturing plant is directly behind it.
