following the race in rockwall yesterday, the festivities got under way with the 'rub' part of the event. A big barbeque smoke-out!
Local representation for Terrell was the Nucor cooking team - with a huge orange smoker that even had a built-in sink. =) today's photo was on the side of the smoker.
there was also a local mexican restaurant, el cayote, serving brisket tacos after the race - and they were delicious! i'll definitely be making the drive up to rockwall some evening to try out their menu. jim has a post for el cayote over on his site here.
