Today's photo is a shot of a couple of pine cones I photographed at the park administration building near the entrance. Pine cones always make me think of Christmas, but I guess they're just a winter thing...

when i was a kid, i found many of pine cones in my neighborhood.
Hi Brian. I really like this shot for two reasons. One: it's b/w and that's always nice. Two: I grew up in NC and pine cones are everywhere. Here, I hardly ever get to see pine trees and cones. :)

is this a b/w? i thought it was a sepia tone. in either case i like the photo. perhaps sharpening it a bit in photoshop would make it look even better?
