Brin Street Victorian home

Ok.. now admittedly.. when I first moved here to Terrell 12 years ago, I didn't particularly care for this house. I did like the style, and definitely would've liked it in it's original state - but the deterioration and all just seemed too much for me to consider owning for myself...

well, a couple years ago the owners came in and repaired the roof and painted - and it looks pretty nice to me now! I mean, I know it's still not perfect - at one time there must've been a 2nd floor porch (hence the door in mid-air)... but I'm sure the inside is much better than the outside... and not everything has to be restored to its initial condition... things age, and that's ok.... (40 is creeping up on me!)

Goodness, our house is older than you! ;)

It does look a beautiful home. I can only imagine its grandeur when fully restored. I have to admit I'm not crazy about the color they chose though.

Yay!!! I'm glad your site is back up and running. I'm enjoying the turret series. There are quite a few in Terrell! I don't think I'd have much success with that theme in Jackson.

I like it! I don't care for the color, but I like the house! They should rebuild that 2nd floor porch, cuz it looks awful strange w/ a "mid air door" hehehe

Wow!!! My parents live in this house they moved in summer of '88 my freshman year @ THS. Yes the inside has came leaps and bounds since then. Yes the outside needs a tad tlc... but as my dad said one day it's like that movie "money pit". One day it will be finished.... when I win the loto LOL
