Mimosa reflections

Today's photo is a reflection of my mimosa tree in my car window, This was taken after dusk when the leaves had already closed up... most people probably recognize a mimosa as a drink more than a tree, but the pink blossoms it gets are really fragrant and pretty... this tree isn't in bloom right now though =)

Nice, Brian, really nice. Be sure your Grandma gets to see this one. We had a good-sized mimosa in our front yard when I was growing up. I liked to climb up in the limbs and watch the cars go by, hidden among the leaves. Naturally, it was during the daytime when they were fully open.

Did we live in the same house Lynette? :)

We also had a big, beautiful mimosa smack in the middle of our front yard when I was growing up. I used to climb up into its branches, but once I got afraid to jump out and my dad had to bring out a ladder. That was the last time I climbed in there.

Very neat picture.

It's the other way around for me, I'd never heard of the drink until Phoebe said it on "Friends" - Mom & dad had that one in the back yard all those years & yes they DO smell GOOD!!! I'm gonna get one for my new place.

Nice pic, very clever way to set up a scene. Hey I thought a mimosa was some sort of champagne and orange juice drink or something!

I used to love to play under the mimosa tree at my grandmother's house. I loved the beautiful pink flowers and the feather-like leaves. Creative picture!
