Downtown Glen Rose

I took a road trip to Glen Rose, Texas today - this Coke sign was painted on the side of an old corner drug store across from the town square. The side of the building was made out of local quarried rock... the downtown area was very nostalgic of what one thinks an old town would look like back in the day... I'll have more photos to come!

Here's a shot of the side of the building:

Ok, the small deal in the bottom right corner is a person drinking a Coke I take it - but what's around their neck?
I like the stones - that's cool!
Nice shot

That's a vintage coke sign for sure. I also like the corner drug store calling itself the "Corner Drug Store."

Aww, these hand-painted signs are nostalgic. Nowadays, they're all computer-generated on material that's so not environmentally friendly.

I can't wait for the rest of this series, Brian. Thanks for both views of this interesting wall. The rocks are especially fascinating when clicked on to enlarge.
