this weekend's run is the first annual Lion's Dash 5k in Rockwall... after that, yard work! spring has sprung and the lawnmower needs a workout!

austin - capitol city
one of the sites you have to visit, when coming to Austin, is the state capitol!
a huge, beautiful building made of pink granite... that shines in the flood lights at night!
tomorrow morning, jim and i will be running the Austin American Statesmen Capitol 10k!
it's my 2nd capitol 10k (and my 3rd 10k for 2011), and i'm looking to make a personal record by beating my best time of 1:09:37...

this weekend will be my 3rd 10k for 2011; my new year's resolution was to try and do one per month.
it's my 2nd time to do the capitol 10k - last year was my first.
any excuse to go to austin sounds good to me =) i lived there back in the early 90s and LOVE austin =)
