i added a link to the right hand column for the san antonio rock n roll marathon and half. my first half marathon! it's on november 13, so i have several months to train.
Yes, I remember the Alamo. We lived in San Antonio for a few months when I was in the second grade, then again when I was in the 4th grade. Seems like it was the 4th grade that there were too many students for the school's size, so we went one half day, taking a book satchel with back and forth because we were not allowed to leave anything in the desks.
About the bouldering, yes, sometimes there is a stairway down, but that's mostly on the man-made, huge "boulders" built in the center of the room--there are several of them at The Circuit. And it seems to me that not all of the routes, or whatever you call them, lead to the very top. I might be wrong about that, and I think the guys are bouldering right now, so i cannot stop and ask. Maybe I'll remember to ask later on and let you know.
