after today...
happy turkey day to all! i ran my first dallas turkey trot today - and next year I'll know to move earlier to get near the front at the start... because i got stuck behind thousands of walkers, and it's frustrating to try and run when families of 5 are walking shoulder to shoulder down the street.
it was fun, but i learned a few tricks for next year. like wearing warmer clothes when the temperature is anticipated to drop 50 degrees in a few hours =) texas weather, gotta love it
