Having a talented mom comes in handy at times - today's pics are of my new quilt my mom made out of race t-shirts! she got a new quilting machine not too long ago and was getting in a little practice while making this!

today was the too hot to handle 15k at white rock lake... i looked a little tired in the after pic =)  finished the race in 1:50:28.. not great, but it is summer in Texas, and it was hot. =)
