today's photo is taken from the intersection of hwy 34 S and High St, right in front of the sub courthouse.

the location for the new bridge overpass for Moore Ave/hwy 80. i plan to *try* to post regular updates on the progress throughout the year =)

**happy 4 year blog anniversary to me!!** i opened my blog with my first post back on jan 5 2008. i originally started because i was planning to quit smoking in 2008, and i knew having a daily project like a photo blog could keep me motivated and busy with other things. it worked, i quit smoking that year. next i decided to get off the couch, join a gym and work out. check. started walking and then began a running program. another success. blogging can be overwhelming at times, but it's just a little something each day. it taught me to not let the big tasks overwhelm me. do a little each day. it all adds up. with exercise or studying or anything else. it doesn't always have to be 100%, just show up and make an effort. then work to improve. and keep at it. wow, 4 years!! here's to 4 more!

today i tagged along with Jim from Terrell Daily Photo and attended the NCAA game between North Dakota State and Sam Houston State up in Frisco. It was a nice day, a little cool and cloudy, but perfect for taking pics =)

jim got sideline passes to the ticket city bowl for the 2nd year in a row, and i was able to tag along and snap a few photos.  after the game, we came back and went for a 5 mile run =)  our next half marathon is scheduled for end of March, and we need to start preparing!
