urban dare 2011

jim and i participated in the Urban Dare 2011 race through Dallas today, and it was HOT! =)

one of the tasks was to get a couple to recreate the famous kiss scene from world war II - taken by Alfred Eisenstaedt.

pretty close to the original! the couple posing for us were taking part in their own scavenger hunt - the Bachendorf's Diamond Dash Dallas...

we'll be staying right on Fremont Street in the old downtown area - and the new attraction is a zipline that goes right under the 'fremont st experience' light display that occurs periodically throughout the night!

still in pain from working out to a p90x tape yesterday... feeling muscles that i haven't felt in over a year, since i did the tape last =) still, i managed to get out and run 3 miles tonight - nonstop - and later walk downtown, logging another mile...

with the end of the weekend came a late-night announcement from the White House that Osama Bin Laden is dead!
