The Theme Day for April 1st over at the City Daily Photo Blog is 'Yellow'. My contribution here is an old train caboose that resides in the historical downtown park of Edgewood, Texas, just east of Terrell.
Please take some time to click through some of the other sites participating in theme day!! Happy April Fool's day, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my favorite aunt Valerie =)

Well that puts paid to the song I used to sing as a child:
"Little red caboose, chug chug chug.."

Well I just learned something! Love this old train - never expected to see a yellow one. What a great choice for today.
I love the yellow caboose!!! Perfect choice. Happy theme day.
Gorgeous choice. I love the Ima Hogg house, too. (Always loved her name when I was growing up in Austin!)
That's a huge yellow thing and very interesting too. Very good shot.
I love this. I don't think I've ever seen a caboose that isn't the color red. I used to see one parked in someone's yard off of 181. I always wondered what they used it for.
Lovely yellow picture! It is in fact "vintage"!
Great blog and wonderful shots!
By the way I didn't know the Texan'sflag, very beautiful!
Kind Regards
Léia
