started feeling bad last night and came home sick today... stuffy nose, congested and scratchy throat. yuck! gotta get well so i can run 9.3 miles on Sunday at the Too Cold to Hold!  =)

another sunday night where i'm left wondering what happened to the weekend. it all seems a blur. i'll blame it on the beer =)

well, i didn't quite make a PR today, but i was only 45 seconds off =) not too bad... i finished the 10k in 1:05:50 - my PR is 1:05:06.... next weekend is the 15k, and right now i have a hurt ankle. hopefully it heals quickly!

dublin dr pepper RIP

Tomorrow morning is the hotcake hustle 10k in addison... after the race they have pancakes, hot chocolate, pizza and beer!! woo hoo!!

today's photo is another reminder of a texas tradition that just got screwed by the parent company - Dr Pepper Snapple. Dublin dr pepper was the last bottling plant still making the original dr pepper recipe with pure cane sugar. the parent company came in and shut down the dr pepper operation. greedy people suck.

a texas tradition ended yesterday. dr pepper snapple corporate came in and bought out the local dublin dr pepper bottler and ceased production of pure cane sugar dr pepper at the local facility. doc's soda shop will remain open, but the bottler will no longer bottle the original dr pepper that's been their main product since the 1880's!
