Cabbage Plant

Today's photo is another common winter flowerbed item around Texas. Not sure of the exact name, but we call it a cabbage plant. The rich deep purple colors are really attractive in landscaping....

  1. Up here is known as "Savoy cabbage" and we eat it! Yep, you can eat that lovely thing. It tastes good, if you happen to like cabbage. Even raw in salads.

    I know, too weird, eh?

  2. Its known as the Ornamental Cabbage and the colder the weather is the better the colour of the plant!
