porter farm


i took today's photo (Porter Farms) when i was out looking for a barn photo this weekend. i like the white cat in the right corner; it looks like it was hunting something =)

i've liked these quonset huts ever since i was a kid. i guess from watching too much gomer pyle. =) always thought it would be cool to have one as a lake house or something!

    I think they would be hard to heat and cool and you wouldn't get much light. But I guess besides that it might be cool to live there! :)

    Hahaha! LOVE that cat on the prowl. I think a Quonset hut might be hot in the summer...but I don't know that for sure. I like to see someone try that idea out, though. :)

    they made great living homes even had windows most had two bedrooms living area an kitchen
